And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.


and keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:


And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.


He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.


The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his mercy.


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.


The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: And he that hath it shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.


Let not thine heart envy sinners: But be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.


I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.


I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.


For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.


For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?


It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.


Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:


Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.


He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?


And his mercy is on them that fear him From generation to generation.


And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,


Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.


specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.


Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.


that thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.


Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.


And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.


only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
