And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.


And among the sons of the priests there were found that had taken strange wives: namely, of the sons of Jesh´u-a the son of Joz´adak, and his brethren; Ma-asei´ah, and Eli-e´zer, and Jarib, and Gedali´ah.


Then stood up Jesh´u-a the son of Joz´adak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerub´babel the son of She-al´ti-el, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.


For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.


and thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.


And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, Holiness to the Lord.


Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.


And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the Lord commanded Moses.


In the second year of Dari´us the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the Lord by Hag´gai the prophet unto Zerub´babel the son of She-al´ti-el, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jos´edech, the high priest, saying,


And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerub´babel the son of She-al´ti-el, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jos´edech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God,


Yet now be strong, O Zerub´babel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jos´edech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:


And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.


And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.


And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobi´jah, and to Jedai´ah, and to Hen the son of Zephani´ah, for a memorial in the temple of the Lord.


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.


His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.


And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
