That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked; and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?


O Lord God of Israel, thou art righteous; for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses; for we cannot stand before thee because of this.


neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them.


and foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Per´izzites, and the Jeb´usites, and the Gir´gashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous.


He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;


For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.


We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.


Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.


The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.


And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.


Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?


because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.


The Lord is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.


and ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
