and to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the Lord in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the Lord:


Woe to A´ri-el, to A´ri-el, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.


Yet I will distress A´ri-el, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as A´ri-el.


Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.


For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.


And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.


And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?


I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.


They have dealt treacherously against the Lord; for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.


Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.


I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.


Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.


Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
