For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and purity, and by the grace of God, and not in the wisdom of the flesh, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially towards you.


that ye may be perfect and without blemish, as the sincere children of God, who are resident in a perverse and crooked generation; and that ye may appear among them as luminaries in the world;


to you, he hath now given peace, by the body of his flesh, and by his death; that he might establish you in his presence, holy, without blemish, and without offence;


and establish your hearts unblamable in holiness, before God our Father; at the advent of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, with all his saints.


Therefore, my beloved, as ye expect these things, strive that ye may be found by him in peace, without spot and without blemish.


If ye know that he is righteous, ye also know, that whoever doeth righteousness, is from him.


And by this we shall be sensible that we know him, if we keep his commandments.


My children, let no one deceive you: he that doeth righteousness, is righteous, as the Messiah also is righteous.
