The woman saw how beautiful the tree was and how good its fruit would be to eat, and she thought how wonderful it would be to become wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, and he also ate it.


What you get by dishonesty you may enjoy like the finest food, but sooner or later it will be like a mouthful of sand.


This is how an unfaithful wife acts: she commits adultery, has a bath, and says, “But I haven't done anything wrong!”


Children that you have by other women will do you no good.


So be happy with your wife and find your joy with the woman you married —


But by means of that commandment sin found its chance to stir up all kinds of selfish desires in me. Apart from law, sin is a dead thing.
