For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will render to each according to his works.


Then Jesus said to them, "Look out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."


But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.


But all their works they do in order to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and they enlarge the borders of their garments.


"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.'


Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.


For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?


You therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.


"Moreover, when you fast, do not become gloomy, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men [to be] fasting. Assuredly I say to you, that they receive their reward in full.


Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.


Then He charged them, saying, "Look out, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."


Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.


Now in the meantime, as an innumerable crowd had gathered together so that they were stepping on one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."


And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. Because that which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.


for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.


How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and do not seek the glory which is from the only God?


So when Peter saw [this], he replied to the people: "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him to walk?


As many as wish to make a good showing in the flesh, these compel you to get circumcised, only so that they should not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.


regarding the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward.


On account of this we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.


For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.


Look to yourselves, lest we should lose those things for which we worked, but that we should receive a full reward.
