But whenever they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly I say to you, by no means will you have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.


But Jesus said, "Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."


Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:


"Blessed [are] the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Allow the little children come to Me, do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of God.


who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions-and in the age to come, eternal life.


But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and they will persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers on account of My name.


And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me,


Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: "Blessed [are] you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.


Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude you, and shall revile [you], and cast out your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.


Remember the word which I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.


And they were persuaded by him, and when they called the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and released them.


Now Saul was agreeing with them in his murder. And in that day there arose a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they all were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.


For our momentary light affliction is working out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,


and not being terrified in anything by your enemies, which is to them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and this from God.


If we endure, we shall also reign with [Him]. If we deny [Him], He also will deny us.


persecutions, [and ]afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, in Iconium, at Lystra-what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.


Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he is approved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him.


Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord-that He is compassionate and He is merciful.


not as Cain who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his works were evil and the [works] of his brother were righteous.


Fear none of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold indeed, the devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
