Then Peter said to her, "Why is it that it was agreed by you to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they shall carry you out [as well]."


nor let us tempt Christ, just as also some of them tempted [Him], and were destroyed by serpents;


Where your fathers tested Me, they tried Me, and saw My works forty years.
