Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I say to you that on this night, before [the] rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."


And after a little [while], those standing by came up and said to Peter, "Surely you also are one of them, for your accent gives you away."


And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which He said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."And going out, he wept bitterly.


And all the people answered and said, "His blood [be] on us and on our children."


Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I say to you, that you, today on this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times."


But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you are saying."And he went outside into the forecourt, and a rooster crowed.


But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are saying!"And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.


Peter then denied again; and immediately a rooster crowed.


For I could wish that I myself to be accursed from Christ on behalf of my brothers, my countrymen according to the flesh,


If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema. Marana tha!


As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
