Serpents! Brood of vipers! How shall you escape from the condemnation of hell?


Now after two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might get hold of Him by guile, and [how ]they might kill [Him].


Therefore from that day [on] they took counsel together, that they might kill Him.


[he ]said, "O full of all guile and all craft, [you] son of [the] devil, [you] enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?


This [king] took advantage of our race, and oppressed our fathers, to make their babies exposed, in order that they might not preserve their lives.


But I fear, lest perhaps as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
