For from within, out of the heart of men, come forth evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,


But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk,


And he said to him, 'Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was a harsh man, taking up what I did not deposit, and reaping what I did not sow.


And after supper, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,


But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart [for] you to lie to the Holy Spirit, and [for ]you to keep back for yourself from the price of the land?


Repent therefore from this your wickedness, and make petition to God, if perhaps the intent of your heart will be forgiven you.
