Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?"So Jesus said to him, "It is as you say."

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.


Then Pilate questioned Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?"He answered him and said, "You are saying [what is] [so]."


And an inscription also was written over Him, in Greek, Latin, and Hebrew letters: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.


Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"


took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and they were crying out, "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!"


Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?"Jesus answered, "You say [rightly] that I am a king. For this [reason] I have been born, and for this [reason] I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."


Now Pilate wrote a title and he put [it] on the cross. And it was written: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.


And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"


so that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.


Then he said, "Lord, I believe!"And he worshipped Him.


But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."


I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Stock of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
