From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go off to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised the third day.


And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead."


and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He shall rise again."


saying, "Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while He was still alive, 'After three days I will rise.'


And He began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise.

"But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.


Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
