Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying,

But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.


And Jesus went about all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every illness among the people.


Hypocrite! First remove the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.


Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like unmarked graves, and the men walking over them do not know it."


Hypocrites! You know [how] to discern the face of the earth and of the sky, but how is it you do not discern this time?


The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?


But solid food is for the mature, for those because of their practice have their senses trained for the distinguishing of both good and evil.
