But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came by him; and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion.


and fell down on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan.


And having called together the twelve, He gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases.


And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.


Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.


Therefore Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! Just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you."


Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, and you [Jews] say that in Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary to worship."


Therefore He came to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near the piece of land which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.


Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?"For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.


Therefore the Jews said among themselves, "Where does this [man] intend to go that we will not find Him? Does He intend to go into the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?


Then the Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say well that You are a Samaritan, and You have a demon?"


But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."


And those of the circumcision who believed were astounded, as many as had come with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.


Now Saul was agreeing with them in his murder. And in that day there arose a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they all were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.


forbidding us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, so as always to fill up [the measure of] their sins; but the wrath [of God ]has come upon them to the uttermost.
