But I say to you that whoever gets angry with his brother without cause will be liable to the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Empty-head!' will be liable to the council. But whoever says, ' fool!' will be liable to the fiery hell.


and shall come forth-those who have done good, to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to a resurrection of condemnation.


Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem, for the name of the Lord Jesus."


It is a fearful [thing] to fall into the hands of the living God!


Women received their dead [back] by resurrection. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, in order that they might obtain a better resurrection.


There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you who judges the other?


But even if you should suffer on account of righteousness, [you are] blessed. "But do not fear their threats, nor be troubled."


Fear none of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold indeed, the devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
