There is nothing from outside a man, that entering into him, can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.


Now in the meantime, as an innumerable crowd had gathered together so that they were stepping on one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


And Phillip, running up to it, heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?"
