Then having dismissed the crowds, Jesus went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."


Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain in private;


Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, towards the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,


And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what [shall be] the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"


Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, "Teacher, we desire that You to do for us whatever we may ask."


Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?"


And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be greatly amazed, and deeply depressed.


And apart from a parable He did not speak to them, however, privately to His disciples, he would explain all things.


And He did not permit anyone to follow along with Him except for Peter, James, and John the brother of James.


Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up into a high mountain alone by themselves. And He was transfigured before them,
