So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.


But I have a baptism to be baptized [with], and how distressed I am till it is completed!


And He was traveling through various cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.


And it happened while He was traveling to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.


Then taking the twelve aside, He said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.


Now as they heard these things, He told another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.


And having said these things, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.


And it happened, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and was carried up into heaven.


Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go."


Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.


I came forth from the Father and I have come into the world. Again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father."


"But now I am going to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?'


And I am no longer in the world, yet these are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name which You have given to Me, that they may be one just as We [are].


What then if you should see the Son of Man ascending where He was before?


until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,


Now after He said these things, while they were beholding [Him], He was lifted up, and a cloud withdrew Him from their sight.


which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated [Him] at His right hand in the heavenlies,


I press toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.


And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among [the ]Gentiles, believed on in the world, [and ]was received up in glory.


looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured [the] cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


where the Forerunner has entered on our behalf, [even] Jesus, having become a High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.


who having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to Him.
