Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"


But when Jesus perceived their reasonings, He answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?


Jesus answered and said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but those who are ill.


But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Arise and stand in the midst."And he arose and stood.


Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke within himself, saying, "This [Man], if He were a prophet, would know who and what sort of woman [this is] who touches Him, for she is a sinner."


There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other [owed ]fifty.


You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say correctly, for so I am.


Now Jesus knew that they were desiring to ask Him, and He said to them, "Are you inquiring with one another that I said, 'A little [while] and you will not see Me; and again a little [while] and you will see Me'?


Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God."


This [man] came to Him by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God [as] a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."
