So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.


And the crowds were saying, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee."


And going out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to report to His disciples.


Now when the crowds saw, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.


Then fear came on all who lived around them; and all these things were being talked about throughout all the hill country of Judea.


"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people,


and they will level you to the ground, and your children with you; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the season of your visitation."


Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was spoken to them.


And He said to them, "What things?"So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who proved to be a man [who was ]a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,


And amazement gripped [them] all, and they were glorifying God, and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen extraordinary things today!"


When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!"


So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He gave him to his mother.


Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke within himself, saying, "This [Man], if He were a prophet, would know who and what sort of woman [this is] who touches Him, for she is a sinner."


Then the whole multitude from the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to go away from them, because they were gripped with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.


So they answered and said, "John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the ancient prophets has arisen."


And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?"He said, "I am not.""Are you the Prophet?"And he answered, "No."


And they asked him, saying, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"


The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.


Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."


They said to the blind [man] again, "What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?"He said, "He is a prophet."


Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. And great fear came upon all those who heard of it.


"This is that Moses who said to the sons of Israel, 'The LORD our God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers.
