And Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.


But those who have been counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;


While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light."These things Jesus spoke, and departing, He was hidden from them.


Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.


For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light-


whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame-who are mindful of earthly things.


You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's [own] possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;


By this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
