He will not quarrel nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.


"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.'


"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, neither did you do it to Me.'


After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and there they remained not many days.


Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal for Your house will consume Me."


Therefore, when He was raised up from among the dead, His disciples remembered that He spoke this [thing,] and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.


And when the wine had given out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."


After these things Jesus, along with His disciples, came into the land of Judea, and there He was staying with them and He was baptizing.


(although Jesus Himself was not baptizing, but His disciples),


Therefore the disciples were saying to one another, "Has anyone brought Him [something] to eat?"


For His disciples had gone away into the city, that they might buy provisions.


But when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the leftover fragments, so that nothing may be lost."


Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,


Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can hear it?"


From this [time] many of His disciples turned back and no longer would walk with Him.


Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?"


He answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?"


Now He was speaking [about] Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon, for he was intending to betray Him, though he was one of the twelve.


One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him,


His brothers therefore said to Him, "Depart from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.


and having found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came about that for a whole year they assembled with the church and instructed many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.


Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined as a ministry to send relief to the brothers dwelling in Judea;


Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.


A wife has been bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband also dies, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord.


And whatever you may do in word or deed, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.


Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.


Behold, I stand at the door and I am knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and I will dine with him, and he with Me.
