Then Jesus used stories to teach the people many things. Jesus said: “A farmer went out to plant his seed.


Then Jesus left the people and went into the house. His followers came to him and said, “Explain to us the meaning of the story about the weeds in the field.”


Jesus said, “Only you can know the secret truth about the kingdom of God. But to those other people I tell everything by using stories.


Jesus always used stories to teach the people. But when Jesus and his followers were alone together, Jesus explained everything to them.


Then Jesus said, “You people that hear me, listen!”


Then Jesus left the people and went into the house. The followers asked Jesus about this story.
