And they began to accuse him, saying: We have found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he is Christ the king.

5 Circumcision profiteth indeed, if thou keep the law; but if thou be a transgressor of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.


1 And not only so; but also we glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received reconciliation.


Who are Israelites, to whom belongeth the adoption as of children, and the glory, and the testament, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises:


4 What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? God forbid.


Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sactification in the fear of God.


1 Now therefore perform ye it also in deed; that as your mind is forward to be willing, so it may be also to perform, out of that which you have.


8 We have sent also with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel through all the churches.


3 To confirm your hearts without blame, in holiness, before God and our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, with all his saints. Amen.


For kings, and for all that are in high station: that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all piety and chastity.


For which cause I admonish thee, that thou stir up the grace of God which is in thee, by the imposition of my hands.


8 And alive, and was dead, and behold I am living for ever and ever, and have the keys of death and of hell.


2 Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds.


1 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome, shall not be hurt by the second death.


But thou hast a few names in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments: and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy.


8 I counsel thee to buy of me gold fire tried, that thou mayest be made rich; and mayest be clothed in white garments, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.


And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet.
