For they knew him to be prince of the palace, and to have great power: and the fame of his name increased daily, and was spread abroad through all men's mouths.


Shall not all they know that work iniquity, who devour my people as they eat bread ?


thou hast know my sitting down, and my rising up.


5 And thou hast given me the protection of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath held me up: And thy discipline hath corrected me unto the end: and thy discipline, the same shall teach me.

Be angry, and sin not: the things you say in your hearts, be sorry for them upon your beds.


Delight in the Lord, and he will give thee the requests of thy heart.


2 Understand these things, you that forget God; lest he snatch you away, and there be none to deliver you.


Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.


Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,


with long trumpets, and sound of comet. Make a joyful noise before the Lord our king:


To whom have you likened me, and made me equal, and compared me, and made me like?


3 The glory of Libanus shall come to thee, the Ar tree, and the box tree, and the pine tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary: and I will glorify the place of my feet.


1 Now all chastisement for the present indeed seemeth not to bring with it joy, but sorrow: but afterwards it will yield, to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.


8 And the two made a covenant before the Lord: and David abode in the wood: but Jonathan returned to his house.
