5 Then the high priests rent his garments, saying: He hath blasphemed; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy:


3 He trusted in God; let him now deliver him if he will have him; for he said: I am the Son of God.


4 How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!


2 Let Christ the king of Israel come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.


1 For if in the green wood they do these things, what shall be done in the dry?


1 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this man hath done no evil.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas, who is called Didymus, and Nathanael, who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.


But when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
