7 And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.


That my mouth may not speak the works of men: for the sake of the words of thy lips, I have kept hard ways.


There went up a smoke in his wrath: and a fire flamed from his face: coals were kindled by it.


I have cried to the Lord with my voice: and he hath heard me from his holy hill.


6 And there shall be a firmament on the earth on the tops of mountains, above Libanus shall the fruit thereof be exalted : and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth.


8 And the glory of his forest, and of his beautiful hill, shall be consumed from the soul even to the flesh, and he shall run away through fear.


2 He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:


5 And they brought him to Jesus. And casting their garments on the colt, they set Jesus thereon.


4 Awake, ye just, and sin not. For some have not the knowledge of God, I speak it to your shame.


And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should no more seduce the nations, till the thousand years be finished. And after that, he must be loosed a little time.


4 Otherwise as the Lord liveth the God of Israel, who hath withholden me from doing thee any evil: if thou hadst not quickly come to meet me, there had not been left to Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.


And on the morrow the Philistines came to strip the slain, and they found Saul and his three sons lying in mount Gelboe.
