The just shall correct me in mercy, and shall reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner fatten my head. For my prayer also shall still be against the things with which they are well pleased:


Their infirmities were multiplied: afterwards they made haste. I will not gather together their meetings for blood offerings: nor will I be mindful of their names by my lips.


I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:


I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.


Riches shall not profit in the day of revenge: but justice shall deliver from death.


7 Well doth he rise early who seeketh good things; but he that seeketh after evil things shall be oppressed by them.


0 When it goeth well with the just the city shall rejoice: and when the wicked perish there shall be praise.


9 It is better to dwell in a wilderness, than with a quarrelsome and passionate woman.
