In his sight I pour out my prayer, and before him I declare my trouble:


A man shall be known by his learning: but he that is vain and foolish, shall be exposed to contempt.


0 He that walketh with the wise, shall be wise: a friend of fools shall become like to them.


A wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish will pull down with her hands that also which is built.


Go against a foolish man, and he knoweth not the lips of prudence.


2 A corrupt man loveth not one that reproveth him: nor will he go to the wise.


3 A foolish son is the grief of his father: and a wrangling wife is like a roof continually dropping through.

For this gird yourselves with haircloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the Lord is not turned away from us.


Let your manners be without covetousness, contented with such things as you have; for he hath said: I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.
