What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid. But I do not know sin, but by the law; for I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet.


The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.


For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to God unto the pulling down of fortifications, destroying counsels,


1 Above all principality, and power, and virtue, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.


3 Which is his body, and the fulness of him who is filled all in all.


9 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,


8 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is luxury; but be ye filled with the holy Spirit,


Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.


9 Because in him, it hath well pleased the Father, that all fullness should dwell;


5 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:


Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,


Wherefore though I have much confidence in Christ Jesus, to command thee that which is to the purpose:


0 For they did not endure that which was said: And if so much as a beast shall touch the mount, it shall be stoned.


1 For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.


4 Or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of the good:


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


And when the prince of pastors shall appear, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.
