8 3 Moreover I shook my lap, and said: So may God shake every man that shall not accomplish this word, out of his house, and out of his labours, thus may he be shaken out, and become empty. And all the multitude said: Amen. And they praised God. And the people did according to what was said.

NOW we that are stronger, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.


7 Where is then thy boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.


Who serveth as a soldier at any time, at his own charges? Who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? Who feedeth the flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?


1 For we forecast what may be good not only before God, but also before men.
