9 Thou hast overthrown the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his sanctuary on the earth.


2 When you came to appear before me, who required these things at your hands, that you should walk in my courts?


9 O Lord, hear: O Lord, be appeased: hearken and do: delay not for thy own sake, O my God: because thy name is invocated upon thy city, and upon thy people.


1 As I was yet speaking in prayer, behold the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, flying swiftly touched me at the time of the evening sacrifice.


7 My God will cast them away, because they hearkened not to him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.


Whose names are these: Of Ruben, Elisur the son of Sedeur.


5 The Lord hath taken away thy judgment, he hath turned away thy enemies: the king of Israel the Lord is in the midst of thee, thou shalt fear evil no more.


And Jesse begot David the king. And David the king begot Solomon, of her that had been the wife of Urias.


And you shall observe, and fulfil them in practice. For this is your wisdom, and understanding in the sight of nations, that hearing all these precepts, they may say: Behold a wise and understanding people, a great nation.
