7 Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind.


5 And James and John the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying: Master, we desire that whatsoever we shall ask, thou wouldst do it for us:


1 And the second is like to it: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these.


3 And that he should be loved with the whole heart, and with the whole understanding, and with the whole soul, and with the whole strength; and to love one's neighbour as one's self, is a greater thing than all holocausts and sacrifices.


5 And blessed art thou that hast believed, because those things shall be accomplished that were spoken to thee by the Lord.


7 Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.


7 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?


9 And taking him, they brought him to the Areopagus, saying: May we know what this new doctrine is, which thou speakest of?


3 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.


Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by whose grace you are saved,)


The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.
