6 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin in this kind of thing? and surely among many nations, there was not a king like him, and he was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: m and yet women of other countries brought even him to sin.


1 And let us do the work: and let one half of us hold our spears from the rising of the morning, till the stars appear.


Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.


Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel.


0 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy face, from the disturbance of men. Thou shalt protect them in thy tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.


7 Thou hast taught me, O God, from my youth: and till now I will declare thy wonderful works.


3 And all thy wives, and thy children shall be brought out to the Chaldeans, and thou shalt not escape their hands, but thou shalt be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon: and he shall burn this city with fire.


2 And Abdemelech the Ethiopian said to Jeremias: Put these old rags and these rent and rotten things under thy arms, and upon the cords: and Jeremias did so.


2 Then was offered to him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb: and he healed him, so that he spoke and saw.


AND after six days Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart:


But be not you called Rabbi. For one is your master; and all you are brethren.


2 For she in pouring this ointment upon my body, hath done it for my burial.


7 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him: and others struck his face with the palms of their hands,


Amen, I say to you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which she hath done, shall be told for a memorial of her.


4 And he made that twelve should be with him, and that he might send them to preach.


5 And the pasch of the Jews was at hand; and many from the country went up to Jerusalem, before the pasch to purify themselves.


8 For which reason also the people came to meet him, because they heard that he had done this miracle.


When he had said these things, he himself stayed in Galilee.


1 And they indeed went from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus.


1 Now the church had peace throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria; and was edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and was filled with the consolation of the Holy Ghost.
