6 Let his roots be dried up beneath, and his harvest destroyed above.


0 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy face, from the disturbance of men. Thou shalt protect them in thy tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.


8 And he shall destroy the wicked, and the sinners together: and they that have forsaken the Lord, shall be consumed.

8 Why came I out of the womb, to see labour and sorrow, and that my days should be spent in confusion?

7 And I will cause Elam to be afraid before their enemies, and in the sight of them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, my fierce wrath, saith the Lord : and will send the sword after them, till I consume them.


3 For I have sworn by myself, saith the Lord, that Bosra shall become a desolation, and a reproach, and a desert, and a curse: and all her cities shall be everlasting wastes.


2 Is there no balm in Galaad? or is no physician there? Why then is not the wound of the daughter of my people closed?


Who will give water to my head, and a fountain of tears to my eyes? and I will weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people.

5 But thou profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come that hath been appointed in the time of iniquity:


6 Trouble shall come upon trouble, and rumour upon rumour, and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
