7 And I took the cup at the hand of the Lord, and I presented it to all the nations to drink of it, to which the Lord sent me:


1 Behold I come against thee, O proud one, saith the Lord the God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time of thy visitation.


9 And thou son of man, set thee two ways, for the sword of the king of Babylon to come: both shall come forth out of one land: and with his hand he shall draw lots, he shall consult at the head of the way of the city.


They have abused father and mother in thee, they have oppressed the stranger in the midst of thee, they have grieved the fatherless and widow in thee.


And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as a dew from the Lord, and as drops upon the grass, which waiteth not for man, nor tarrieth for the children of men.


And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many peoples as a lion among the beasts of the forests, and as a young lion among the docks of sheep: who when he shall go through and tread down, and take, there is none to deliver.


Take ye the spoil of the silver, take the spoil of the gold: for there is no end of the riches of all the precious furniture.


2 I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name, saith the Lord.


5 Then the Pharisees going, consulted among themselves how to insnare him in his speech.
