7 And the elder bore a son, and called his name Moab: he is the father of the Moabites unto this day.


5 And he said: Attend ye, all Juda, and you that dwell in Jerusalem, and thou king Josaphat: Thus saith the Lord to you: Fear ye not, and be not dismayed at this multitude: for the battle is not yours, but God's.


The foot shall tread it down, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.


And in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, we have patiently waited for thee: thy name, and thy remembrance are the desire of the soul.


1 Its harvest shall be destroyed with drought, women shall come and teach it: for it is not a wise people, therefore he that made it, shall not have mercy on it: and he that formed it, shall not spare it.


9 For behold I begin to bring evil on the city wherein my name is called upon: and shall you be as innocent and escape free? you shall not escape free: for I will call for the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.


1 But the nation that shall bend down their neck under the yoke of the king Babylon, and shall serve him: Will let them remain in their own land, saith the Lord: and they shall till it, and dwell in it.


They shall all proved together to be senseless and foolish: the doctrine of their vanity is wood.


2 And thou be chosen of the stock of Cin, how long shalt thou be able to continue? For Assur shall take thee captive.


Was it not thus your fathers did, when I sent from Cadesbarne to view the land?


2 Destroy all the inhabitants of that land: beat down their pillars, and break in pieces their statues, and waste all their high places,


4 And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad and to his children by their kindreds a possession, of which this is the division.
