3 Wherefore hath the wicked provoked God? for he hath said in his heart: He will not require it.


9 I have thought on my ways: and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.


But thou hast saved us from them that afflict us : and hast put them to shame that hate us.


In God shall we glory all the day long : and in thy name we will give praise for ever.


5 with thy arm thou hast redeemed thy people the children of Jacob and of Joseph.


2 Wonderful things did he do in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Tanis.


9 And it came to pass at midnight, the Lord slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharao, who sat on his throne, unto the firstborn of the captive woman that was in the prison, and all the firstborn of cattle.


7 And when Pharao had sent out the people, the Lord led them not by the way of the land of the Philistines which is near: thinking lest perhaps they would repent, if they should see wars arise against them, and would return into Egypt.


Our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.


9 We are become as in the beginning, when thou didst not rule over us, and when we were not called by thy name.


7 Because he loved thy fathers, and chose their seed after them. And he brought thee out of Egypt, going before thee with his great power,


For the Lord thy God will bring thee into a good land, of brooks and of waters, and of fountains: in the plains of which and the hills deep rivers break out:


8 And depart not hence, till I return to thee, and bring a sacrifice, and offer it to thee. And he answered: I will wait thy coming.
