2 Let them come, and tell us all things that are to come: tell us the former things what they were: and we will set our heart upon them, and shall know the latter end of them, and tell us the things that are to come.


6 But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment.


Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of penance.


6 And nobody putteth a piece of raw cloth unto an old garment. For it taketh away the fullness thereof from the garment, and there is made a greater rent.


8 But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it.


And behold, there was a man named Zacheus, who was the chief of the publicans, and he was rich.

5 Itself remaineth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal.


But I told you not these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me: Whither goest thou?


7 After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.

Now there is at Jerusalem a pond, called Probatica, which in Hebrew is named Bethsaida, having five porches.


4 How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?


2 The next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea, saw that there was no other ship there but one, and that Jesus had not entered into the ship with his disciples, but that his disciples were gone away alone.


5 And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst.


9 Now this he said of the Spirit which they should receive, who believed in him: for as yet the Spirit was not given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

4 John first preaching, before his coming, the baptism of penance to all the people of Israel.


And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.


7 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, nor suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.


But Peter with John fastening his eyes upon him, said: Look upon us.


6 For the multitude of the people followed after, crying: Away with him.


6 And now why tarriest thou? Rise up, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, invoking his name.


3 Neither can they prove unto thee the things whereof they now accuse me.


Going on board a ship of Adrumetum, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia, Aristarchus, the Macedonian of Thessalonica, continuing with us.


7 Delivering thee from the people, and from the nations, unto which now I send thee:


0 That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ,


4 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you.

AND in those days, the number of the disciples increasing, there arose a murmuring of the Greeks against the Hebrews, for that their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.


And the nation which they shall serve will I judge, said the Lord; and after these things they shall go out, and shall serve me in this place.


1 Lest again, when I come, God humble me among you: and I mourn many of them that sinned before, and have not done penance for the uncleanness, and fornication, and lasciviousness, that they have committed.


3 And again: I will put my trust in him. And again: Behold I and my children, whom God hath given me.
