8 And he said to them: You know how abominable it is for a man that is a Jew, to keep company or to come unto one of another nation: but God hath shewed to me, to call no man common or unclean.

2 Then it pleased the apostles and ancients, with the whole church, to choose men of their own company, and to send to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas, who was surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren.


0 Now therefore, why tempt you God to put a yoke upon the necks of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?


And when they had passed through Phrygia, and the country of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia.


2 And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up, and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.


4 Take these, and sanctify thyself with them: and bestow on them, that they may shave their heads: and all will know that the things which they have heard of thee, are false; but that thou thyself also walkest keeping the law.


6 To you first God, raising up his Son, hath sent him to bless you; that every one may convert himself from his wickedness.


3 And with great power did the apostles give testimony of the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord; and great grace was in them all.


3 And when many days were passed, the Jews consulted together to kill him.


3 Him therefore I hope to send unto you immediately, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
