And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.


9 But her masters, seeing that the hope of their gain was gone, apprehending Paul and Silas, brought them into the marketplace to the rulers.


6 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain girl, having a pythonical spirit, met us, who brought to her masters much gain by divining.


6 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, lest he should be stayed any time in Asia. For he hasted, if it were possible for him, to keep the day of Pentecost at Jerusalem.


For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make a commemoration of you;


8 For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such.


1 To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law.


3 And I do all things for the gospel's sake: that I may be made partaker thereof.


5 And every one that striveth for the mastery, refraineth himself from all things: and they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible one.


For I suppose that I have done nothing less than the great apostles.


3 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.


6 I say again, (let no man think me to be foolish, otherwise take me as one foolish, that I also may glory a little.)


2 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.


3 But having the same spirit of faith, as it is written: I believed, for which cause I have spoken; we also believe, for which cause we speak also:


Now I have sent the brethren, that the thing which we boast of concerning you, be not made void in this behalf, that (as I have said) you may be ready:


See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ's, let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ's, so are we also.


2 Epaphras saluteth you, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, who is always solicitous for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect, and full in all the will of God.


1 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
