The Lord has wrought all things because of himself. Likewise the impious is for the evil day.


He has made all things good in their time, and he has handed over the world to their disputes, so that man may not discover the work which God made from the beginning, even until the end.

The works of God are perfect, and all his ways are judgments. God is faithful and without any iniquity. He is just and upright.


For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected which is received with thanksgiving;


for it has been sanctified by the Word of God and by prayer.
