I've found that the best way to explain something truly difficult is to have lived it firsthand. Walking the walk every day gives you the tools you need to share a message of salvation that can really reach people. There's just nothing like sharing a life-changing message that's rooted in your own experiences.
But here's the thing: it's so important to remember the role of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit has the full picture and the patience to guide us into a deeper understanding. We can't just rely on our own thinking or even other people's stories, because we might find ourselves at a loss when we try to share something we haven't truly encountered ourselves.
The Holy Spirit is ready and willing to teach us today. It's all about being open to that guidance.
Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to Elohim, having been put to death indeed in flesh but made alive in the Spirit,in which also He went and proclaimed unto the spirits in prison,
Again the day came to be that the sons of Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and Satan also came among them to present himself before יהוה.
Here is the wisdom! He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty six.
And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,And Noaḥ brought forth three sons: Shĕm, Ḥam, and Yapheth. And the earth was corrupt before Elohim, and the earth was filled with violence. And Elohim looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt – for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth –and Elohim said to Noaḥ, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. And see, I am going to destroy them from the earth.“Make yourself an ark of gopherwood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with a covering.“And this is how you are to make it: The length of the ark is three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.“Make a window for the ark, and complete it to a cubit from above. And set the door of the ark in its side. Make it with lower, second, and third decks.“And see, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life from under the heavens – all that is on the earth is to die.“And I shall establish My covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.“And of all the living of all flesh, two of each, you are to bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you – a male and a female.that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.“Of the birds after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, and of all creeping creatures of the ground after their kind, two of each are to come to you, to keep them alive.“As for you, take of all food that is eaten and gather it to yourself. And it shall be food for you and for them.”And Noaḥ did according to all that Elohim commanded him, so he did.And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name.
and the pig, though it has a split hoof, completely divided, yet does not chew the cud, it is unclean to you.
Only, of the cities of these peoples which יהוה your Elohim gives you as an inheritance, you do not keep alive any that breathe,”but you shall certainly put them under the ban: the Ḥittite and the Amorite and the Kena‛anite and the Perizzite and the Ḥiwwite and the Yeḇusite, as יהוה your Elohim has commanded you,
And Yiphtaḥ made a vow to יהוה, and said, “If You give the children of Ammon into my hands, then it shall be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall belong to יהוה, and I shall offer it up as an ascending offering.”
And again the displeasure of יהוה burned against Yisra’ĕl, and moved Dawiḏ against them to say, “Go, number Yisra’ĕl and Yehuḏah.”
And he said to him, “I too am a prophet like you, and a messenger spoke to me by the word of יהוה, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, and let him eat bread and drink water.’ ” But he lied to him.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.
Then יהוה answered Iyoḇ out of the whirlwind, and said, and assigned for it My law, and set bars and doors;and said, ‘This far you have come, but no farther, and here your proud waves stop?’Have you ever commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to know its place,to take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wrong be shaken out of it?It is changed like clay under a seal, and they stand out like a garment. And their light is withheld from the wrong, and the arm lifted up is broken.Have you come to the sources of the sea? Or have you walked about in the recesses of the deep? Were the gates of death revealed to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?Have you understood the breadth of the earth? Declare, if you know it all.Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,“Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?that you should take it to its boundary, and know the paths to its home?Do you know? For you would have been born then, and the number of your days been many!Have you entered into the storehouses of snow, or have you seen the storehouses of hail, which I have kept for the time of distress, for the day of fighting and battle?Where is the way that light is divided, or the east wind scattered over the earth?Who has cleft a channel for the overflowing water, or a way for the thunderclaps,to make rain fall on land where no one is, a wilderness in which there is no man;to satisfy the wild and waste places, and to make the seeds of grass to sprout?Does the rain have a father? Or who has brought forth the drops of dew? From whose belly comes the ice? And who gave birth to the frost of the heavens? Now gird up your loins like a man, and I ask you, and you answer Me.The waters harden like stone, and the surface of the deep is frozen.Do you bind the bands of Kimah, or loosen the cords of Kesil?Do you bring out the constellations in its season? Or do you lead the Bear with its sons?Do you know the laws of the heavens? Or do you set their rule over the earth?Do you lift up your voice to the clouds, so that floods of water cover you?Do you send out lightnings, and they go and say to you, ‘Here we are!’?Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the heart?Who has wisdom to count the clouds, or to tip over the bottles of the heavens, when the dust hardens in clumps, and the clods cling together?Do you hunt the prey for the lion, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding.
that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
that the Elohim of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Did you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting Elohim, יהוה, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also become like him.Answer a fool according to his folly, Lest he become wise in his own eyes.
For the event of the sons of men is also the event of beasts – one event befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Indeed, they all have one breath – man has no advantage over beasts. For all is futile.A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot; All are going to one place – all came from the dust, and all return to dust.Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the beast, which goes down to the earth?
forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I, יהוה, do all these.’
“The children are gathering wood, the fathers are lighting the fire, and the women are kneading their dough, to make cakes for the sovereigness of the heavens, and to pour out drink offerings to other mighty ones, to provoke Me.
“And I also gave them up to laws that were not good, and right-rulings by which they would not live.“And I defiled them by their own gifts, as they passed all their first-born through the fire, so that I might stun them, so that they know that I am יהוה.” ’
“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and for your set-apart city, to put an end to the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover crookedness, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophet, and to anoint the Most Set-apart.“Know, then, and understand: from the going forth of the command to restore and build Yerushalayim until Messiah the Prince is seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It shall be built again, with streets and a trench, but in times of affliction.“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and have naught. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the set-apart place. And the end of it is with a flood. And wastes are decreed, and fighting until the end.“And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall put an end to slaughtering and meal offering. And on the wing of abominations he shall lay waste, even until the complete end and that which is decreed is poured out on the one who lays waste.”
And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into GĕHinnom.“Blessed are the poor in spirit, because theirs is the reign of the heavens.“And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into GĕHinnom.
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword,
“Because of this I say to you, all sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven men.“And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Aḏam, it shall be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Set-apart Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
And about the ninth hour יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Ěli, Ěli, lemah sheḇaqtani?” that is, “My Ěl, My Ěl, why have You forsaken Me?”
“He who has believed and has been immersed, shall be saved, but he who has not believed shall be condemned.
If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and his own life too, he is unable to be My taught one.
יהושע therefore said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Aḏam and drink His blood, you possess no life in yourselves.
And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Mattithyahu. And he was numbered with the eleven emissaries.
What then? Yisra’ĕl has not obtained what it seeks, but the chosen did obtain it, and the rest were hardened. As it has been written, “יהוה has given them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes not to see and ears not to hear, unto this day.”
So that whoever should eat this bread or drink this cup of the Master unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Master. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup.For the one who is eating and drinking unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Master. And I wish you to know that the head of every man is the Messiah, and the head of woman is the man, and the head of Messiah is Elohim.Because of this many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
Otherwise, what shall they do who are immersed for the dead, if the dead are not raised at all? Why indeed are they immersed for the dead?
And to keep me from exalting myself because of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to hit me, to keep me from exalting myself.Concerning this I pleaded with the Master three times to take it away from me.And He said to me, “My favour is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, then, I shall rather boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Messiah rests on me.
even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be set-apart and blameless before Him, in love,
Because to you it has been given as a favour, on behalf of Messiah, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him.And He is before all, and in Him all hold together.
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Set-apart Spirit, and have tasted the good Word of Elohim and the powers of the age to come, and fall away, to renew them again to repentance – having impaled for themselves the Son of Elohim again, and put Him to open shame.
For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins, but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents.
If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him life for those not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
“He who overcomes shall be dressed in white robes, and I shall by no means blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I shall confess his name before My Father and before His messengers.
And I saw a great white throne and Him who was sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged from what was written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and She’ol gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. And Death and She’ol were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, lash for lash.
“When men fight with one another, a man and his brother, and the wife of one shall draw near to rescue her husband from the hand of the one striking him, and shall put out her hand and take hold of him by the genitals, then you shall cut off her hand – your eye does not pardon.
And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Shimshon!” And he awoke from his sleep, and said, “Let me go out as before, at other times, and shake myself loose!” But he did not know that יהוה had turned aside from him.
Now go, and you shall strike Amalĕq and put under the ban all that he has, and you shall not spare them, and put to death from man to woman, from infant to nursing child, from ox to sheep, from camel to donkey.’ ”
And it came to be, as they continued on and spoke, that see, a chariot of fire with horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Ěliyahu went up by a whirlwind into the heavens. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Yisra’ĕl and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garments and tore them into two pieces.
And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I return there. יהוה has given, and יהוה has taken away. Blessed be the Name of יהוה.”
For You, You possessed my kidneys, You have covered me in my mother’s womb.I give thanks to You, For I am awesomely and wondrously made! Wondrous are Your works, And my being knows it well.My bones were not concealed from You, When I was shaped in a hidden place, Knit together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw my unformed body. And in Your book all of them were written, The days they were formed, While none was among them.
Truly, He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. Yet we reckoned Him smitten, stricken by Elohim, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookednesses. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
For I know the plans I am planning for you,’ declares יהוה, ‘plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and an expectancy.
The hand of יהוה was upon me and took me out by the Spirit of יהוה, and set me down in the midst of the valley. And it was filled with bones. And I prophesied as He commanded me, and the spirit came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, a very great army. And He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are all the house of Yisra’ĕl. See, they say, ‘Our bones are dry, our expectancy has perished, and we ourselves have been cut off!’“Therefore prophesy, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, O My people, I am opening your burial-sites and shall bring you up from your burial-sites, and shall bring you into the land of Yisra’ĕl.“And you shall know that I am יהוה, when I open your burial-sites, My people, and bring you up from your burial-sites.“And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall settle you in your own land. And you shall know that I יהוה have spoken, and I have done it,” declares יהוה.’ ”
“Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it.“Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
“And when the Son of Aḏam comes in His esteem, and all the set-apart messengers with Him, then He shall sit on the throne of His esteem.“And all the nations shall be gathered before Him, and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats.“And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world - ”for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in,was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.’Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry and we fed You, or thirsty and gave You to drink? And when did we see You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed You?And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and we came to You?’but the wise took oil in their containers with their lamps.“And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’He shall then also say to those on the left hand, ‘Go away from Me, accursed ones, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his messengers - ”for I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink,I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, was naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’“Then they also shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not serve You?’Then He shall answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ ”And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.
“But there was a certain rich man who used to dress in purple and fine linen and lived luxuriously every day.“So having called him he said to him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, for you are no longer able to be manager.’And there was a certain beggar named El‛azar, being covered with sores, who was placed at his gate,”and longing to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Indeed, even the dogs came and licked his sores.“And it came to be that the beggar died, and was carried by the messengers to the bosom of Aḇraham. And the rich man also died and was buried.“And while suffering tortures in She’ol, having lifted up his eyes, he saw Aḇraham far away, and El‛azar in his bosom.“And crying out he said, ‘Father Aḇraham, have compassion on me, and send El‛azar to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering in this flame.’“But Aḇraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your life you received your good, and likewise El‛azar the evil, but now he is comforted and you are suffering. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set, so that those who wish to pass from here to you are unable, nor do those from there pass to us.’“And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, let him warn them, lest they also come to this place of torture.’Aḇraham said to him, ‘They have Mosheh and the prophets, let them hear them.’ ”“And the manager said within himself, ‘What shall I do? For my master is taking the managership away from me. I am unable to dig, I am ashamed to beg.“And he said, ‘No, father Aḇraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they shall repent.’“But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Mosheh and the prophets, neither would they be persuaded even if one should rise from the dead.’ ”
“In My Father’s house are many staying places. And if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.“In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.“He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.”Yehuḏah – not the one from Qerioth – said to Him, “Master, what has come about that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.“He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.“These Words I have spoken to you while still with you.“But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.“Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.“You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you did love Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.“And now I have told you before it takes place, that when it does take place, you shall believe.“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you might be too.
And when the Day of the Festival of Shaḇu‛ot had come, they were all with one mind in one place.both Phrygia and Pamphulia, Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Yehuḏim and converts,Cretans and Araḇs, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great deeds of Elohim. And they were all amazed, and were puzzled, saying to each other, “What does this mean?”And others mocking said, “They have been filled with sweet wine.”But Kĕpha, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, “Men of Yehuḏah and all those dwelling in Yerushalayim, let this be known to you, and listen closely to my words.“For these men are not drunk, as you imagine, since it is only the third hour of the day.But this is what was spoken by the prophet Yo’ĕl:‘And it shall be in the last days, says Elohim, that I shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams, and also on My male servants and on My female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy.‘And I shall show wonders in the heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapour of smoke. And suddenly there came a sound from the heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and splendid day of יהוה.‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.’“Men of Yisra’ĕl, hear these words: יהושע of Natsareth, a Man from Elohim, having been pointed out to you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs which Elohim did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, this One, given up by the set purpose and foreknowledge of Elohim, you have impaled and put to death through the hands of lawless men –“Him Elohim raised up, having loosed the pangs of death, because it was impossible that He could be held in its grip.“For Dawiḏ says concerning Him, ‘I saw יהוה before me continually, because He is at my right hand, in order that I should not be shaken.‘For this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad, and now my flesh shall also rest in expectation, because You shall not leave my being in She’ol, nor shall You give Your Lovingly-committed One to see corruption.‘You have made known to me the ways of life, You shall fill me with joy in Your presence.’Men and brothers, let me speak boldly to you of the ancestor Dawiḏ, that he died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them.“Being a prophet, then, and knowing that Elohim had sworn with an oath to him: of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, to raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne, foreseeing this he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah, that His being was neither left in She’ol, nor did His flesh see corruption.“Elohim has raised up this יהושע, of which we are all witnesses.“Therefore, having been exalted to the right hand of Elohim, and having received from the Father the promise of the Set-apart Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.“For Dawiḏ did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself said, ‘יהוה said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” ’Therefore let all the house of Yisra’ĕl know for certain that Elohim has made this יהושע, whom you impaled, both Master and Messiah. And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Kĕpha and the rest of the emissaries, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?”And Kĕpha said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as יהוה our Elohim shall call. And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak.
And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to his purpose.
If anyone’s work is burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, but so as through fire.
For we all have to appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, in order for each one to receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
Do not be led astray: Elohim is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.
For by favour you have been saved, through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim,it is not by works, so that no one should boast.
For many – of whom I have often told you, and now say to you even weeping – walk as enemies of the stake of Messiah.Their end is destruction, their mighty one is their stomach, and their esteem is in their shame – they mind the earthly.
But she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in belief, and love, and set-apartness, with sensibleness.
But without belief it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.
Let no one say when he is enticed, “I am enticed by Elohim,” for Elohim is not enticed by evil matters, and He entices no one.But each one is enticed when he is drawn away by his own desires and trapped.
chosen according to the foreknowledge of Elohim the Father, set apart by the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of יהושע Messiah: Favour and peace be increased to you.
And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Is it not if you do good, you are to be accepted? And if you do not do good, towards the door is a sin. He is lying and towards you is his desire, and you must rule over him.”
for you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for יהוה, whose Name is jealous, is a jealous Ěl –
‘And a man who lies with a male as he lies with a woman: both of them have done an abomination, they shall certainly be put to death, their blood is upon them.
“Do not eat whatever dies of itself. Give it to the stranger who is within your gates, to eat it, or sell it to a foreigner. For you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
“Thus said יהוה, ‘See, I am raising up evil against you, from your own house, and shall take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbour, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.For you did it in secret, but I shall do this deed before all Yisra’ĕl, and before the sun.’ ”And Dawiḏ said to Nathan, “I have sinned against יהוה.” And Nathan said to Dawiḏ, “Also, יהוה has put away your sin, you shall not die.“However, because by this deed you have greatly scorned יהוה, the child also who is born to you shall certainly die.”
If I go up into the heavens, You are there; If I make my bed in She’ol, see, You are there.
Trust in יהוה with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;Know Him in all your ways, And He makes all your paths straight.
For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases suffering.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares יהוה.“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the command by the word of the set-apart ones, so that the living know that the Most High is ruler in the reign of men, and gives it to whomever He wishes, and sets over it the lowest of men.’
“My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.
but I have hated Ěsaw, and have laid waste his mountains and his inheritance for the jackals of the wilderness.”
Another parable He put before them, saying, “The reign of the heavens has become like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went away.“And when the blade sprouted and bore fruit, then the darnel also appeared.“And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then does it have the darnel?’“And he said to them, ‘A man, an enemy did this.’ And the servants said to him, ‘Do you wish then, that we go and gather them up?’“But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also uproot the wheat with them. And He spoke to them much in parables, saying, “See, the sower went out to sow.Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I shall say to the reapers, “First gather the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.” ’ ”
And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the reign of Elohim.”
And looking at them, יהושע said, “With men it is impossible, but not with Elohim, for with Elohim all is possible.”
Give, and it shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over shall be put into your lap. For with the same measure with which you measure, it shall be measured back to you.
Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.
So, then, it is not of him who is wishing, nor of him who is running, but of Elohim who shows favour.
But the natural man does not receive the matters of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him, and he is unable to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
And indeed, if our Good News has been veiled, it has been veiled in those who are perishing,in whom the mighty one of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the enlightening of the Good News of the esteem of Messiah, who is the likeness of Elohim, does not shine on them.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you desire to do.
And have no fellowship with the fruitless works of darkness, but rather convictd them.
Therefore, as chosen ones of Elohim, set-apart and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against another, indeed, as Messiah forgave you so also should you.But above all these put on love, which is a bond of the perfection.
For this is the desire of Elohim: your set-apartness! – that you should abstain from whoring, that each one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in set-apartness and respect, not in passion of lust, like the nations who do not know Elohim,
All Scripture is breathed out by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.
who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people, his own possession, ardent for good works.
We too, then, having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us,For they indeed disciplined us for a few days as seemed best to them, but He does it for our profit, so that we might share His apartness. And indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.So, strengthen the hands which hang down and the weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, lest the lame be turned aside, but instead, to be healed.Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see the Master.See to it that no one falls short of the favour of Elohim, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, by which many become defiled, lest there be anyone who whores, or profane one, like Ěsaw, who for a single meal sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it with tears. For you have not drawn near to a mountain touched and scorched with fire, and to blackness, and darkness and storm, and a sound of a trumpet, and a voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that no further Word should be spoken to them, looking to the Prince and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
