Deuteronomy 15:3
8 Krydshenvisninger

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called Yahweh's release.

Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that Yahweh thy Elohim may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy Elohim, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for Yahweh thy Elohim will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
