And Joseph gave orders to fill their bags with grain, and to replace every man's money in his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. This was done for them.


He answered, “You shall not slay them. Would you slay those whom you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.”


A warrior's sharp arrows, with glowing coals of the broom tree!


Let burning coals fall upon them! Let them be cast into pits, no more to rise!


But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,


“But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,


Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.


Then Saul said, “I have done wrong; return, my son David, for I will no more do you harm, because my life was precious in your eyes this day; behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.”
