12 Krydshenvisninger

Like vinegar to the teeth, and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.

Trust in a faithless man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth or a foot that slips.

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

Then the king went to his palace, and spent the night fasting; no diversions were brought to him, and sleep fled from him.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
