2 Corinthians 10:10
13 Krydshenvisninger

But Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor even now that you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Truly I do not know how to speak, for I am only a boy.”

For Christ did not send me to baptize but to proclaim the gospel—and not with eloquent wisdom, so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its power.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, God decided, through the foolishness of the proclamation, to save those who believe.

I myself, Paul, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you but bold toward you when I am away!—

Let such a person understand that what we say by letter when absent we will also do when present.

I do not want to seem as though I am trying to frighten you with my letters.

To my shame, I must say, we were too weak for that! But whatever anyone dares to boast of—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast of that.

Even if I am untrained in speech, I certainly am not with respect to knowledge; certainly in every way and in all things we have made this evident to you.

since you desire proof that Christ is speaking in me. He is not weak in dealing with you but is powerful in you.
