1 Corinthians 14:7
7 Krydshenvisninger

saying, We played the flute to you, and you did not dance! We mourned to you, but you did not wail!

They are like children sitting in a market and calling to one another, and saying, We have played the flute to you, and you have not danced; we have mourned to you, and you did not weep.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I have become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal.

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what will I profit you, except I speak to you either in revelation, or in knowledge, or in prophecy, or in teaching?

For also if a trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself for the battle?

After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is. And it will happen to you when you come there to the city, even you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a harp and a tambourine and a flute and a lyre before them. And they shall prophesy.
